APPLICATIONS OF  GRAPHENE

Graphene can be integrated into new classes of electronics devices bringing together the combined electrical, optical and mechanical properties.

One of the first envisioned application concerns the production of flexible and transparent conducting electrodes.

Graphene is a material which slightly absorbs visible light but provides at the same time excellent surface conductivity. With a suitable dopant, its conductance/absorbance ratio matches or exceeds state-of-the-art materials for transparent electrodes with additional advantages such as flexibility, reduced thickness and sustainability  .
